Yeah, bought some live shrimp a few times for my predator tank (currently a Volitan lionfish and a snowflake eel) and the lion usually grabs a good majority of the shrimp before they hit the bottom of the tank. Does look so neat!!!!

Do you feed them only live, or have you started feeding them frozen? Still trying to break them (eel, lionfish) into frozen. The have eaten some formula one frozen but when I tried to feed the some frozen bloodworms, and squid the cubes just broke apart...is there a trick to this??? Do you put the cubes in while there still frozen some??

CB Pets also had a gorgeous radiata last time I was in there, he's only about 3 inches long, but very nice. they also sell salt water ghost shrimp, which is nice ifyou have a salt water predator.

If you're looking for a big one, I'd suggest getting another type of Lion. Radiata's (from what I read a good while back) don't seem to grow quite as fast as your avg Voltans, nor do they reach near the same size. I think the usual size they grow into is 9", maybe 10". This isn't much compared to the 14-16" Voltans. I'm personally not a fan of Voltans at all, but love Radiatas and Dwarfs. :D
