Mantis Shrimp

I seem to remember someone on MAAST looking for a mantis shrimp some time ago. Well I found one in some liverock. I've never seen mantis in Fiji rock before so I have no idea what species it is. It's a cute little rose colored guy about 1/2" long that I guess will grow into a cool monster. If anybody wants him let me know soon, otherwise he's trigger dinner.

I was looking for one a while back but I dont know if you are talking about me... I'd love to have him but I don't have a way to get to Spring Branch any time soon as I'm in Austin.

Hey Richard;

If you can't find anyone for it, why don't you set it up in an isolation tank for a while? Maybe a 10 gallon with a powerhead and some live rock? This could be a very cool little tank on a shelf or something in your store. Maybe you don't have room, but I'd hate to see the little critter get offed. Unfortunately, I'm a little too far away to help out...

turbobrett is taking it. And others in line if that doesn't work out. Thought about doing that but then decided it would just be one more thing to look after and it's pretty hard to keep up with things already. I don't think I would have offed him though, it should be pretty cool when it gets bigger.
