TroyPham-

Nice tank!
Also liked the site that pic was posted on.
I used to be a Vortex dweller but much like Reef Central, a little too national to hook up with locals. I see this is national but seems to be alot of posts from TX.
Always wondered where to find the local dubbers (Central Texas).

98 Jetta GT 2.0 :( . All motor, Techtonics stuffed- much better now.
Pretty much as far as I can go until I can afford the t3t4 hybrid and fmic.

There is a decent gathering of SA and other out-of-Austin folks, Dallas did seem to have a good collection though. I've got 2, but we had to get rid of my gf's Rabbit last year since it went through oil as fast as its gasoline :( I've got a 92 8v GTi, and a 90 G60 Corrado (daily driver, GTi's about to go). CD: glad to hear you know to turbo the 2.0, makes a better turbo than the 1.8T engine, IMO. I was considering trying to shoot for getting me an R32, but I think I'd be mad that I didn't wait and just get an M3 :o The Austin dubbers had a thing that was moderately close-knit, DubDriver.com. The owner of that site just bought the clone of my car, another white G60, and he's opened up a forum called G60Drivers.com or something like that. It's too bad there are more Corrado's in the local junkyard than out on the streets around here, and I have kept track of most C's around town, and I've held onto mine longer than anybody else I've known who bought one within the past 2-3 years. Gotta really give older VW's TLC if you think you wanna keep em running :D
Enough VW talk for now, if anybody wants to meet up sometime, keep in touch with me and witecap4u, as we'll be going to Taco Cabana @ 183/360 some upcoming Saturday night to meet some other TX VW drivers.

GoCorradoGo,

If I work it right, I should be able to squeeze 300hp out of this engine with the correct hybrid setup.
Of course, due to this hobby, could be awhile before I go FI.

Keep me informed when you guys decide to go hang out on some Saturday.
