I'm a little worried that I may have a snail problem. For those of you who've never kept freshwater, maybe you're not familiar with these small quick growing, eagerly reproducing black snails that can overwhelm a freshwater tank. Well, I had them going on in this 10G I'm now using for saltwater, I pulled all the ones I could see out when I drained it and rinsed the gravel, but apparently there were 3 left, as they surfaced the first day of salt-use, and turned into shells full of white fluffy stuff. Anyhow, I have not added any shelled creatures other than hermits and turbos, but I have 3-4 small black snails, similar to those that are in fresh setups, but move faster, and have an extended snout. Are these a sw infestation, or did my old one adapt?

You'd be lucky if they did go nuts because you could sell them. Don't worry.

Never thought of it that way, but I'm just looking for "they wont be like rabbits" :)

They won't be like rabbits, unfortunately.
