HCCC = Hill Country Cichlid Club
If you own or want to get into Cichlids, come out and visit. Not sure, if I can post the website, but you can google it if you are interested in coming out for the auction on the 23rd.

You can post the web page if you like. We aren't that strict here, and as long as it doesn't get rude or out of hand we allow almost anything.

I will be there to make anyone "official". I will also have some MAAST t's for sale.
Usually these last about 2-2.5 hours. Normally we actually have to be kicked out of the hosts house as we stay and chat forever....

As for feeding cichlids to the flatworms... we'll have to talk about that.. ;)
Yeah, I'll be going to the auction too. Not sure how long I can stay, but I was going to donate some of my mbuna fry to the HCCC club.

I know I only come to meetings for the food. NOT! Don't worry about it Stephen, we are reefers, not restaurant critics for the New York Times.
Some stale chips and oreos would make this crowd happy. Just don't let the chateaubriand be stale.

we will probably eat before we come, and maybe snack there? we're nearly vegan, so we dont do a lot of dining at social functions.
And bananas foster aint that hard to make :P unless its like @ school, and you're getting quizzed on the history of it, or other dishes, while the instructors are watching you make it :-x and truffles will be in season pretty soon :D

For those people who havent paid their dues, let me give you another reason why you should. Sunday at the meeting I will be giving the 1st five new members that pay their dues a free frag. So whats better then free? Not only will you be supporting a great club, you get something for free out of it. So remember everyone bring your check books.

Anyone interested in trading frags? I have a Colt that is just dying to be fragged (or it will be taking over my tank very soon, otherwise), as well as some miscellanous button polyps and zoo frags.
Any takers.. please PM if your interested in trading frags @ the meeting.
See y'all there!!! :-D
