Well, I got everything moved over from the 46 bowfront to my 110. Here is what it looks like so far, and through it all, the clowns are still hosting the xenia.

The actinic really freaks out the camera!

I got the purple monster last night! I hope it is happy.

I'm slowly increasing the MH time. All these corals have been uder 2x96 PCs for around 5 months. I'm interested in seeing how they do under these 2x250w 10k XM SEs and 2x140 Super Actinic.

I'm really happy with the south down sand I got from Hammer. I didn't have much trouble getting the water to clear up.

Thanks to everyone on this site that has given me great advice, but I have to give a special thanks to Scuba Steveo for all his help and patience :-D.

Boy howdy was it fun! I had buckets and rubbermaids all over the house for days. I do have to say that my wife was really patient through the process.

I just I could have kept up with everything. I keep thinking of things that I had before the move, but now I don't know where they are. 2 hermit crabs, a cucumber, and a few mushrooms.

I can replace those if you want. Sam has a shipment coming in from Hawaii Friday.

I may have to take you up on that Tim, but I've pretty much blown my allowance until next month.

I have some Xenia that did great in my old tank under my 2x96 PC lights, but it is looking pretty ragged in my 110 with MH... is this common? Will it get used to the new light?

It looks great ... why not submit for TOTM and explain the set up and such?

Bryan,

Your Xenia is probably just a little shocked from the new lights. They will do great under the MH. I just switched to a higher PAR MH and mine are doing the same thing.

That happen to me before, I found the poor snails a couple weeks later inside a stinky ziplock bag.

I keep thinking of things that I had before the move, but now I don't know where they are. 2 hermit crabs, a cucumber, and a few mushrooms.
