Don't feel too bad, Yano. I have a Euro-Reef and do weekly changes religiously, and my water isn't that clear.

Thanks for the compliments,

Specs are....
100gal dual reef ready Aquatrend tank, 110lbs live rock, 3-4"dsb in tank.

The sump is divided into a sump and fuge sections with about 7gal of fuge space and 10 of sump and another 10gal on top for overflow protection incase of power loss. Lighting on the fuge is two 6500K 19watt spiral PC from Home depot. Fuge has 3" sand bed, couple pieces of rock, green grape caulerpa, Chaeto, and some mushrooms that were thrown in as frags. There is a Berlin skimmer in the sump, and a Magnum filter on the tank. Return and main flow are from a GenX Mak4 pump.

Lighting on the tank is Dual 400W 10K XM's running on a PFO ballast with 220W VHO actinic running on a ARO ballast.

Maintenance includes adding 2part cal./alk addative daily, top off water bi-weekly, and adding some Iodine sup. every once in a while. Ive done about 4 30gal water changes in the 1.5-2yrs its been running. Last test PH8.2 Nitrates0 Cal. 400 cant rem the Kh....

There are 7 fish currently in the tank, which include a purple tang, yellow tang, scopas tang, niger trigger, bicolor blenny and a pair of gold stripe maroon clowns.

On a side note, only 3-4 corals have been bought out of stores or from the internet. All other corals have came from other peoples tanks mainly as frags from MAAST members. 4 out of the 7 fish have came from other peoples tanks also.

Actually it's not bad here, great view of the Haifa bay and the mediteranian. The people are nice and like to speak english, for the most part.

There are soldiers here and there on the streets packing m16's, probably 1 every couple blocks at most . Most restaurants have guards at the doorw/glocks and the hotel checks the trunk when parking in the garage.
Traffic is CRAZY, but very few accidents, amazingly.

I spotted a LFS today, but it was closed, so i guess i'll have to wait till sunday for it to open.

Sorry for the crappy grammer and poor spelling, but im surfing on my PDA...and its not the easiest to ttype on.

Now, im off to another website to make the most of the $15/day internet rate and to buy a porn dvd out of the vending machine on sidewalk...hehe....j/k

Well, about everything is double what it is in the states, I'd guess ALOT...hehe I'll check around, I've only seen one LFS so far, and it doesnt look to have SW.

Anyways, I did a road trip around northern Israel today, very awesome countryside with small mountains(4500ft) covered with what looks like lava rocks every where. There is also wide variety of vegitation, from evergreens and willows to banana, pear, fig, apple, peach, and olive trees, to palm trees and prickly pear cactus'. Drove to the Sea of Galilee(large FW lake BTW), up the eastern shore and headed up through the Golan Heights area, and up to the Lebanon boarder. Back-tracked a little south and headed east to the Mediterranian coast, and up the coast to the Lebanon boarder up there. Checked out the beach around the boarder and chatted with some locals. When it started to get dark, we headed back down down to Haifa, where we are staying. Next trip on the agenda is probably an afternoon in Nazareth, which is about 7 miles from where we are working. We are also going to try to make it to Jerusalem next weekend and if time allows, maybe check out the dead sea. I've got about 100-150 pics I'll post a link to when I get back to the states, so everyone can see the side of Israel we dont hear about in the news.

Later,
