my lawnmower jumped out of the tank this morning, he was bone dry when i picked him up. But his lips also moved....so i put him in the tank and a minute later he had moved. It has now been ten minutes and he is sitting there breathing. what should i do with him...think he will have brain damage and act wierd? hes been out since at least 830, and i just 10 minutes ago put him in the water.

I had an Oscar once who decided to take a trip out of his tank. He knocked the lid off on New Year's Eve & unfortunately nobody was home. He was out of the tank long enough for all the water he took with him on his trip down to evaporate from the linoleum. He lived for many years after that until he got hole in the head disease.

Put him in a net in front of a powerhead to force fresh oxygenated water across his gills, I had a trigger out of water for almost four hours, he seemed doomed but I did this and he came around. Good luck.

I had a dragon fish I call him that but he some type of eel fish freshwater that jumped out today and my cat scratched him then I put him back in... hope he makes it... he wont do that again lol
