I just bought a Nikon coolpix 5200 and posted some pictures in the gallery. I am still learning on how to adjust this camera. If anyone knows about this camera and has advice feel free!

i'v been looking at the Nikon 3200 which i think is the one just below the one you bought. this one has 3.2 magapixels,3X zoom, 1.6 macro mode and 15 scene modes. what do you think?

I have the Nikon 3200 as my secondary camera. It takes good tank shots most of the time, some of which are better than my main camera. It has an awesome macro mode, which is typical of Nikon. I can focus on the algae and critters on the other side of the glass im shooting through. The indoor shots of about anything that isnt heavily lighted are soso and forget about using the movie mode inside, unless you have every light in the room on. I wouldnt choose it for my only camera, unless all of my pics were going to be daytime outdoor shots, or tank only shots....cs

Pete, not a chance. I lost last time I tried for that. My tanks just aren't TOTM material.

Its not about winning and losing, but presentation! You havent lost anything and as it carries over you are in line. I was just wondering if you wanted "fresh" pics with the new camera?

I'll shoot some more pictures. What did you think of the new shots I put in the gallery? I'll work with this camera to take some decent pictures.
