I need to get 100 turbo snails and will probably order some blue legged hermits which will put me close to 60 bucks. 120 bucks is the mark for free shipping

Sorrry but I don't think it is fair you keep the 10% - Sherri took the order for us last time and there was no problem and she did not keep the 10 %- she passed it along to everyone -.I am not sure if your were in it that order but it went fine.

But anyway - if you are not going to pass along the discount - although I am sure everyone would appreciate it - I will pass on the order this time around but thanks anyway - we are in the same boat as you and every dollar counts - we'll just have to catch the next order

Does anyone else have a problem with me keeping $20 or so to take a day off work, pay for it all upfront, divide the order, and stay home ALL day while people pick up so it is convienent for them? If so, please let me know and I will call and cancel your order as well.

not even. Sometimes people short money, and it doesnt cost her a thing. She would have to organize another order, get $200 worth to get the discount. For $3 she pulls out, and was splitting with someone who now doesnt get his snails.

Are you kidding me? You would pull out of an order because of three bucks? That is how much it would save your portion. And if you pull then who splits all those snails with superxdude. I know every dollar counts, especially with the amount it takes to fill up the hummer these days. We all know a buck is a buck but give me a freaking break. Alex puts the order together and gets the 10%, what is the big deal here? I personally would pass the 10% savings to everyone but I would never host a group order because of people like you. I would not want to deal with this crap either and then sit at home and wait for no shows. You know what, I would keep the 10% and then charge an extra coordination fee to people who hassle me the most. Your son went in on the order and split it with someone else. He should have asked questions first. Now superxdude gets screwed over a three dollar savings to you. That sucks. Well chalk it up to character.

Alex, normally I would get really ****ed if someone were to post my PM to the public. A PM is a private message and in most matters should be left as such. But I do understand your reasons and I appreciate you putting together group orders. Please do not let one bad seed ruin it for you.

Other people in maast sell their services all the time for a profit. I have spent thousands of dollars in mast member’s products like skimmers, calcium reactors, refugiums, and corals too. The sold me their time. That is all Alex is doing and I see no problem with it.

AND FOR THE RECORD - this is how I (Leti) feel about it. I don't think it is necessary to get ugly about it. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and it does not have to agree with yours - that's simply how I (Leti)feel about it and I don't think there is anything wrong with it. I AM very appreciative of group orders and we have ordered several times and honestly this is the first time that I hear direct savings were not passed on.- maybe just didn't realize it before - because I didn't ask before - oops/oh well - that's what I would do - (by the way did offer up a delivery point for receiving the order also- so that a day off doesn't have to happen but I guess that's another story) (by the way not talking about side businesses)

Lesson learned here - you are right -should not have thought because one person passes on the discounts doesn't mean the next guy will and should have asked first. I just thought everyone on this site did it the same way. again, this is MY (Leti) opinion - and I don't think it is cause for ugly words.
