Can someone please tell me what I have growing on my tank walls?

I have these small white snail shell like objects growing on the side and back walls of my tank.

They are too small to take a good pic of with my camera. I know I have alot of baby snails in my tank but, these do not move and are resident on the glass. There have been more and more of them appearing over the last month or so.

Try this http://www.wetwebmedia.com/polychaeidfaqs.htm , there is a pic there also. I have had them in tanks and even in my overflows before.

Salty,
Thanks, that is what they look like. BTW how large did those tube works get? Will they get as large as the featherdusters or tubeworms I have growing out of my rocks and substrate?

Some of mine get large enough to see a crown about 1/8", maybe a bit bigger, mostly green and white. My Coral Beauty used to pick the ones on the glass.

My skimmer was full of small feather dusters until I moved and they died during the move. I've got a pretty good population of them in LS in one of my tanks. My CBB knocks them out in the other tank.

There are probably a lot of them on the back of your LR and they are spreading to the glass from there.
