Never wanted any of these until Deb got a couple and I realized how pretty they are. Just wondering if their colors stay that bright as adults?

Yes, they do stay that bright as adults. They can get to about two inches, but usually have a fairly short (12-24 month) lifespan.

I thought their lifespan was even shorter than that.

The last 4 I bought had very short life spans... I think they must have had a bullseye on their tiny little heads. Great for nano's I think but a bigger reef seemed to be too dangerous for them. 2 of them ended up in the sump somehow and the darn monster hermit from h*ll found them at night.
