:D Hello All,

I just wanted to share a very positive experience that I have had with some recent online purchases.

The first item was an ETSS 800 professional skimmer that I won on E-bay. It came in brand new as advertised and very fast delivery. The seller was a guy named Rob Baker who's e-bay id is rekabbor

Well anyway I ended up buying several other items directly through him ( pan world pump for skimmer, return pump etc...)and they all came in very fast and he keeps you updated constantly. Also note that I paid below even the best online prices and free shipping! cant beat that.

I think that I am done for now with the equipement that I need for my new project so I am sharing his contact info in case anyone else needs drygoods. Here is a copy of the last e-mail that he sent me when I told him about MAAST.

Sure that sounds great. I can offer your buddies the same deals I
have gotten for you. I appreciate the business as well, just sorry
that you had a delay on the waste collector.

We are getting ready to launch our website soon,
www.marinesolutionsinc.com (we also have the domain name
captivereefcorals.com too, that will be redirected to the new site as
well). We will be selling dry goods and corals on the site. We have
an amazing facility for coral propagation. We just got done with the
building, it is half fish shop and half green house for corals. I am
attaching a couple of pictures of our setup. The black cloth you see
in the background is shade-cloth, we are getting so much light that we
have to restrict it. We are only letting 15% of the light through
currently, you have never seen corals get as much extension on them
until you have seen them under natural sunlight. Since these pictures
were taken, we have added some metal halide lamps above the raceways
for viewing in the evening. We are running ETSS 1000 skimmers powered
by PanWorld 250 pumps (equiv to an Iwaki 100). We run the pumps wide
open, no restrictions, and they do a marvelous job. Before we moved
the operation into the greenhouse we were only lighting the raceways
with metal halides, we had small skimmers on the raceways (like Berlin
skimmers). We had so much hair algae you would not believe it, it was
a chore to go in and pick it out regularly. Now with the monster ETSS
skimmers, we have NO hair algae (keep in mind, we also have a lot more
light over the raceways too). We use 100% RO/DI water on these
systems.

We also have an ETSS 1000 on our marine fish system too. Since we
have installed that we have had fewer fish die. I think the biggest
reason is the amount of oxygen that we are putting in the water due to
the downdraft skimming, there is an awful lot of gas exchange in the
down draft tower.

As far as your friends in your club go, the lowest I can sell the ETSS
skimmers is 10% below retail, I will ship them for free. This is the
best I can do. I should be able to match just about any Internet
seller on pumps and other dry goods as well, when I can I will try to
put shipping in there too. I can also provide wet/dry filters,
eco-system filters, anything that Kent Marine has (additives, RO
filters, supplements), chillers, pretty much whatever you might need.
I can get other skimmers such as Euro-Reef and ASM too, but right now
we are having great success with the ETSS line, so this is what I have
been selling. I can get very competitive on lighting too.

Thanks again and I hope you have success with your tank.

Rob

Don,

Do you have any other ebay info. I tried his ID name rekabbor, and all I found was his ID with "0" posts and no store under his ID

This is what we use to hold our RO/DI water for water changes on these large systems. Take a look at the salt buckets to the right of the tub for size comparison.
