Very cool pic. I can't imagine how you got such a clear photo. Great job!

Someone, Emeralds are 'ostensibly' reef save, but I think most would agree it depends on the individual crab. some have been known to chow down on soft corals, and as they get older and larger, eat sleeping fish and what not, they are however one of the few crabs that will eat bubble algae.

I took the pic with the wife's canon s-400 in macro mode. not the best camera for taking reef shots but I think it is the best all around small digital camera. I actually sized the image down and lowered the quality to meet the size limits for posting. The original image is even more clear.
The emeralds and everything else have only been in the tank for a few weeks now. One emerald likes to pick on snails. I have not seen him actually eat any but he will pick them up and poke at them. I am just trying to keep them well feed for now.

Especially this one. I will post pics of it as soon as the trim is up, the light box is up, the auto top off is running, and the calcium reactor is running. Just a few more weeks. :)
