I have a choclate chip starfish and Im wondering if he is a bad addition in a 55gal salt tank that Im going to have corals in ?

I think they eat corals... you might want to read up on them on a place like RC or just google it maybe...

yeah, i definately agree, chocolate chips and corals don't mix from what i've heard

I had a red general starfish (similar type of starfish) for a short time because, although he was a beautiful additon to the tank, he would wander over to the corals, drape himself over them, and start munching away. I got rid of him within days...

Yeah... not a good idea if you want to keep your corals! :o I say relocate him ASAP. :)

I had a chocolate chip when I first began this hobbie......added a few corals, lost a few corals, lost a star fish!

It is a great idea, put in your harlequin shrimp and your good to go.
