I have several Emerald crabs in my tank and today I found at opposite ends:
1 - smaller Emerald crab dead with a large one "hanging" around him with that "guilty" look.
2 - a larger Emerald enjoying a lawnmower blenny (no witnesses to the crime will come forward)
Coincidence? I have seen them grab hold of Krill occaisionally but never anything else but algae.
Do you think that they could have turned killer? I think that there are 6 or 7, maybe 8 in my tank and I supply Seaweed Selects Algae for them and my Tang. Oh, and the largest Emerald had apparently convinced a Condylactus to relocate after being in place for months and taken his perch on a piece of Tonga.
