FIN-ADDICT is located at13327 Nacogdoches #3 in S.A. phone #is 656-3474 Hours Tues-Sat 2pm.- 9pm./ Sun12pm.-6pm. They are next to Toms Ribs and have a big Reef Mural above the store. I visited with Felipe and Sarah the owners for about an hour, very friendly, and dedicated to thier store. they have a good variety of corals, fish snails, liverock, micro algaes....and the list goes on. I encourage everyone from Maast who is fed up with the other LFS,s here in town to check uot this new store that has a friendly attmosphere, and a at home feeling about it. Again the store is FIN-ADDICT Check them out you'll be glad you did. Barry

Friend and I were going to check it out on Friday when we were in town. Dissappointed that they opened so late. Hubby and I were on the road back home by then.
Another one we checked on didn't open until 4 PM.
I did get to meet Gab at Alamo Aquatics(?). Very nice guy.

i second gator on the AW and everytime i go in there the prices seem to be climbing . i know shipping has gone up alittle but as close as they are to the airport....
I hate blasting a store for prices and i know how it is to run a business.
having to pay the insurance, elect, and all the other BS that goes along with it.
but common if your prices are going to be high then you better have
excellent customer service and reall know your S*&% about every fish and
coral out there.

The new store has alot of potential and great customer service. I agree with gator too. And the other stores in SA suck. I am not going to call out any but we know whom they are. You go and see corals that are melting away and starfish that are disintegrating and fish covered in ich and other disease. They just do not care about anything other than making a buck and I will not put anything from their tanks into mine. They do not even acclimate. I asked why would you not acclimate and they said that studies show it does not matter. What a load of BS. It does matter. Especially with starfish. That’s why they are melting away. Its just bad practice. If you want to know why they do not acclimate I will tell you. It takes time and time is money. The fish and coral will survive long enough for them to be sold to someone who does not know any better. You hear the lies all the time, “sure you can add that fish, its reef safe…” or “yes this coral will work under your low lights” it just ticks me off. Anyway, off my soapbox now, this new store is nice. It is small but it is nice. And the customer service is first class. Two thumbs up.

All I can say is we tried to check them out. Couldn't because of opening late. Maybe we can next year when we are in SA. With your great reviews I know they will still be in business.
