Just wondering if anyone has any feed back on this system which uses a "plenum" under the sandbed.

Felipe at Fin Addicts is running one for his shop. The actual plenum is in the back in a bit round tub.

I ran plenums for years but found that over time (years) sand works its way inder the plenum and the open water space gets blocked. With no critters able to get down that far it stagnates and the problems start. Ive had much more longterm success with deep sand beds.
