Sand?

Can I use fine playground sand for a Sand Bed? I have a layer of Live Sand and River Gravel and I want to take out the river gravel and add mroe sand, can I just add fine playground sand from Home Depot?

Pilot I have some sand sitting in the garage you can have. I would think at least 60 pounds or more. It came out of a tank I got awhile back. Just rinse it good & I would think it would work like a charm & its Free. I know nothing about the HD stufff.

Thanks Robert and StephenA. I don't need that much cause I have a good layer already just wanted to get the tiver gravel out and add a little bit more. Thus the reason that I was looking at the HD 5lb bag...that would be more than enough. Thanks again Robert for the offer but I will just grab a small bag somewhere.
