yellow tang

a friend wants to get a yellow tang and currently has a sailfin. i have never had a yellow. so will yellow tands co-exist with sailfin?

He will probably want to move his rock work around before adding another tang, this will lessen the chance of the sailfin fighting off the new tang.

how big of a tank...how large are the two. i've had a yellow and got rid of him for the sailfin. after having the sailfin for 4 months now he is much more dominant then the yellow ever was. i would worry that he would kill any other zebrasoma family tang you put in there.

i thought it would not work out because they say tangs will attack the same body style/color. its a 100 gallon tank. thanks

Build a cube out of eggcrate and stick the sailfin in it for about the first 2 days the yellow tang is in the tank with him. That will get him to chill out.
