new tank purchase

If you want the best glass tank around, order an Oceanic. The 240 is built to order so costs a lot more than the other sizes. I believe they make a 180, 200, and 215 that are stock items. You can also get one locally made by Aqua Trend. Much cheaper as they are made here in S.A. and can be found at any LFS. Just have to shop around for a price. Also, you would have to get the tank drilled as I don't think they sell a reef-ready model.

Man those tanks are cheap. Either something's wrong or it's a GREAT deal. I suppose if I were doing this over I'd get the oceanic with no top braces. Pricey...

As far as aquatrends, I have one but it was kind of a hassle to say the least; first tank broke at the center brace, holes in the wrong places...eventually they made it right but looking back I would have paid an extra few hundred bucks to not have to go through the stuff I went through.

If you do go aquatrends, try to talk directly with guy who makes the tanks. He's pretty sharp.
