Looks healthy ... I would like to get one, but they are expensive here (2-3" for 90.00) so I can wait a couple weeks. :D

I ordered one from cquariums with 7 on one rock on a Saturday and was informed the following Tuesday that I didnt get it because it was sold. :(

wow!!! 90 bux?!?!

michael wanted 50 for this guy(easily 2.5") but i had a bunch of zoo rocks that were gonna be too big to put in the nano so i traded him straight up for it.

thats poor business if you ordered the rock then they sold it from under you. im sorry that didnt work out for you.

on a better note though, ive been reading alot about how these thiings often split and/or bud off and make smaller plate clones. ill keep everyone updated if this thing ever does that! :D

thanks misti! yeah, pics are really hard to capture the beauty of any of our (reefkeepers') stuff.

this guy wasnt looking as good today in the store tank as yesterday when i put him on hold so i was a little worried but i fed him a whole mess load of food and he's nice and fat now! :D he's probably gonna be the focal point of the new nano, ill set him right up front in the middle :P

I ffed mine whatever meaty stuff my fish are getting. Mysids are good too. The main thing to be careful about is that you never let it rub against rock and handle it very gently. They bruise easily and will sometimes get infected and die. I have had a huge long tentacle for several years that has been moved several times. They are generally very eay to take care of except for the bruising I mentioned above.

just got this a few minutes ago. ive read they actually need lots of light so i put it right up close to the surface near my 250 de mh. anyone here have experience with these. anything special i need to know other than they need lots of light, lots of flow, and dont let it touch the air?

Steve, I bought a blue sponge about 3 months ago the size of a golf ball, its now about the size os a tennis ball, I placed it on the very top of the rock, with good water movement and let him go, he's awesome....beautiful color....good luck....
