does anyone no what type of light bulb (if possible) that i can use on a clip on light for refigium. thought i read someone using a bulb from lowes or home depot one time. if so can someone call me and tell me which one to get.

there is another one from the same company that is just a spiral fluorescent light and says 6500K on the base that is like $7 at home depot. Its also 19W and fits into an incadecent aquarium hood.

I have two on my refug. and one on my 2gal nano hex tank. Its bright enough to keep star polyps, shroom and zoos happy. I also had a digitata frag under it for about a month or so, and it did fine also.

Pete, maybe you should just get MAAST to place a link to this bulb on the home page, that way you wouldn't need to keep eating into your own upload limit :lol:

I just run two of the cheapo $8.99 shop lights from Lowe's over my fuge. Use the Ultra daylight cheap bulbs.
