Anyone know of any places in Florida, I am going for a little getaway.

I thought of doing a little collecting, anyone know if it is legal?

I dont need any sand, but was going to bring some back. I figure I might want some later..Critters too...

Anything I should go checkout while I am there??? Starting in Pensacola..from there who knows..

Check out the Naval air mus in Pensacola. Ask a local about collecting there. I've collected star fish and scallops with no problems. I lived in FL for about 10 years. There are tons of things to do. What other areas are you going to be near?

I went in saw that last week. I had a client that wanted to go to epcot last thur. I go to FL about every 2 weeks.

I just wish they could use real coral instead of the fake stuff. They do have a nice coral propegation setup to see.

I agree Stephen, (wierd to call someone by your own name!) it was impressive, but lacking... The coral propogation must be new, I didn't see it when I was there in 2000.

My wife has become a Disneyworld junkey. We went a couple of years ago for the five day hopper and now she's dieing to get back. I told her maybe next summer after I've had time to build up some vacation time with whoever I end up working for after I retire in a few months.

RobertG,
Have you ever gone to the area of Ft Walton Beach. That's decent little drive along the beach from Pensacola to there if you head down to the boardwalk and just go the beach route. By the way, exactly when are you going. They have the Bushwacker festival there in Pansacola somewhere around July/August. That was kind of different and fun, not really realaxing though.
