For those of you that use a Pinpoint Ph monitor, what symptoms do you notice on your monitor that indicate to you that the probe needs to be replaced? Has anyone actually replaced the probe and noticed a major difference? Just curious, Ive been running the same probe for two years and it seems to be still working fine.
Later!

Yeah, I clean mine regularly also and do see a noticable difference in the readings.
Anybody replaced the probe? If so, why? Thats the real question here, surely somebody has. Fess up! C'mon now, dont be skeered...

I did when I accidentally left it out of the water for a couple of days. It would not calibrate correctly. I re-calibrate it every 6 months, but I do it twice to make sure it is reading correctly. If it gives two very different readings when I calibrate it, I know it is time to get rid of it and replace it.
