I usually dont buy unknowns from lfs but was trading in some stuff today and left with a small anenome. They didnt know what kind it is and neither do I but here is a description, it is yellow/orange in color with a blood red colored foot, maybe 4" across with very short tentacles. Really cool looking but i just have no clue what it is! Any ideas?

Sounds like an Atlantic Condy, hard to tell without a pic. Or possibly an LTA, if the underside of the oral disc has linear spotage, most likely an LTA. Do a Google search for pics.

Dyed bubbletip? I cant really find any pictures that look like this guy. Kinda frustrating! The LFS had two of them, one didnt look very healthy with its mouth gaping open and very deflated but this one didnt look bad at all and they got the shipment in yesterday so it hasnt suffered much. They dont have very much in the way of lighting on their anemone tank so there stuff never looks real great. The LFS also has a new owner and the guy is nice as can be, and has really great prices on stuff, but still he isnt real educated on the stuff he sales. They told me that the two anenomes came in with fridays shipment but he didnt order them and they werent on his list so no idea what they were. I figured $14 wasnt bad price as it looks pretty cool! But still would like to know just what it is. Thanks for the help so far
btw that flower anenome is very cool looking!

Looks more like a bubble tip to me. If it survives, you will be able to eventally tell what it really is once the dye is gone.

In case its a bubble tip, give it lots of actinic at 420. This has the best chance of keeping any symbiotic zoozanthellae alive if it can survive the dye.
I hate to be a pessimist, but, enjoy it while you can. I doubt that a dyed anemone will live very long. Yellow, pink and blue are common dyes.
