When I feed my rock anemone small pieces of frozen krill, my clown fish is always attacking me. First is was a few nibbles on the back of my hand, then bitting the skin between the fingers (OWWWW) and today he bit me on my wrist and held on like a snapping turtle! He held on and was flapping like crazy, he finnaly let go when I jerked my hand out of the water. I have some very tiny indentions in my skin and bruse. Is there something I can use to feed my anemone? Most tongs are too big for the krill pieces. Please help me :D

Would airline tubing and a syringe work?

Chop sticks work well with krill. That's how I get past my trigger.

CHOP STICKS! That sounds like it will work well.
Yea, I was shocked that this time he held on.

Are they to big for a turkey baster?
I also have some really long stainless steel hemostats that work good too. They are about 18" long. You can usually pick them up at a flea market where they sell tools and stuff.

Actually, if you stuff your clown and lay hin on his side in the roasting pan, the turkey baster works very well
Seriously - I have a 1.5"Ocellaris Clown that attacked me everytime I put my hand in the tank. One day I went after him with a net, and he hasn't come close to me since - he runs & hides ... the little punk!

My clown host my fingers when ever I stick my hand in. My live stock loves me. My neon gobie and peppermint shrimp also come up and sit on my hand and take a ride while Im working in the tank.

My female perc has also drawn blood. I now use a plastic bag. She bites the bag instead of my hand.

12 yr old stuck his finger in the tank at lfs today to tease some sort of large wrasse they had in there...holy smokes he shoulda looked at the large white teeth before he did that! He bled pretty bad as it made some nice straight slits in his finger....took me awhile to quit laughing but now I know he wont tease fish!

Yea, people need to control their kids at lfs. I hate it when a person is there with like 3 kids, all of them screaming and saying nemo this nemo that.

I know my clown would, when I open the hood to feed my anemone the clown stops what he is doing (even if he is eating!) and goes right to where I would stick my hand in, some times he splashes me.
