Yea. the back is corraline, but it died and bleached during the move of the tank. It was dry for about an hour or so during the drive. It is starting to color back up in some areas.

Its good to see the tank again ....
looks happy ....

the green coral is pocillopora ....
It'll survive and grow slowly under the PCs
(may turn brown on you, may stay green)

Cool. I hope it stays green. I am looking for a 150-175 MH to put on it. maybe it will help everything grow faster too. :)

what size tank is it? if its smaller than say a 10 gallon you might even get away with making one of those diy 70 watt mh setups theyre always ranting about over at nano-reef.com

ive always wanted to see one of those in person cuz i really want to make one for my little 2.5 gallon tank!

It's a 20g. And I have thought about the 70 watt light. I want some SPS though and may need the 150 or so.

Johnny,

Its kinda hard to tell from that pic but it looks like it could be one of the moon corals, Favia, Favites or Montastrea. Try checking those on the the net and see if it looks like one of them.

I got this coral from Sam, so I am guessing he is correct on the ID. I do need a better camera though for sure. I hate mine. I cant get good pic's unless the coral is right up front in the tank.
