not a big emergency or anything but my ocellaris seems to have some spots on its head where it looks like his "paint" is peeling??? is this something they go through when growing or something i actually should be concerned about?
he's eating just fine and swimming around the tank with his normal wiggly self so no effects there.

is he w/ an anemone?????he might be sheeding his slime coat...

no, he is not hosting with anything or anyone, im hoping to change tthis at the meeting by getting an anemone and partner ocellaris from 1salt.

Mine have the same thing. They have areas that look like stretch marks in the white stripe on their head.

very interesting, this morning i get up and take a look and there is no sign of the "paint" being gone?!?!?! its completely healed up this morning? do they create their slime coat at night or something?

i don't think they have a set time that they do it, but my clowns usually get it down w/i a day or two
