Ok envision drilling two holes in the back of the tank for 1.5 inch drains. I'm just going to use upward facing 90 degree elbows for the drain. How high will the water rise above the top of the elbows? Half inch?

Just want to make sure that I don't have a gap between the water line and the tank trim.

Also...how much flow could two 1.5" drains like that handle?

If you do it that way, why not make it adjustable with couplings and a straight piece.

PM TroyValentine. His new tank is done exactly like you are talking about.

This is how I had my 240 drilled, only mine has three 1 1/2 inch bulk heads. Does your tank have a center brace?

Yes the tank has a center brace....I dropped off the tank today...we are doing 2 1 3/4 inch bulkheads in the uppercorners.

Will that be enough flow? I want at least 1000 GPH
