YES! He uses Reef Crystals! Notice how some of his levels are not in the "optimal" range. Just goes ta show ya that things dont have to be perfect to be successfull.

Am I reading that wrong? Tank size - 1500 Sump size 1700?????? That makes 3200 gallons....So a 320 gallon water change each month.

Crazy stuff! That's a lot of water to keep moving around. Did you see all the chillers he has on the system?! He must have a small nuclear reactor in the back yard just to power it all! Well, if I win the lotto tomorrow I might be able to come close to that! lol

OOOOps ... I forgot the sump.

I cant imagine ... the bills :-o . Heck if you follow the rule @ 60.00 a gallon its over 120,000.

I dont know how you plan on winning it. I have the winning ticket right here in my pocket.lol. And when I claim my prize AquaTek will have a hell of a month. Oh well I better not get my hopes up. Would be nice to have a tank that size though, until the electric bill showed up. Of course if you can afford to keep 3200 gallons of reef tank Im sure the electric bill is just chump change.
