Monthly Meetings

Just a thought but, I know that everybody is extremely busy now days and it's hard to make meetings all the time. Would it be easier and draw more people if the meetings were held every other month rather than every month? This would also give more time for planning of each without bumping into the planning of other meetings.

Just a thought and suggestion, it just appears that participation at the meetings have started to thin out. I know it's hard to make every month for me.

No matter when the meetings are held, there will always be people unable to attend due to there personal schedule. In my opinion, the meeting attendance is down only when the club is not giving big prizes or corals away. Also, the last few meetings that we have had large turnouts have been at Jim Norris' where people have shown up just to get free frags and take off.

I think monthly meetings are good to keep interest up and allow new members to meet and socialize with the other more experienced hobbyists.
