Does anyone know which fish store is on 281 near Thousand Oaks in San Antonio?

there is a LFS on 281 and bitters ( PETLAND ) which is close but not sure if that is the one you are talking about

The closest one that's open and closest to that address is Aquatic Warehouse (210) 348-7004 10852 Gulfdale, or are you talking about the new one that's not open yet (Naco and Higgins)?

There is Petland at 281 and Bitters along with a PetsMart on the opposite side of the highway. There is Aquatic Warehouse at 281 and Sandau (just south of Nakoma). The only other store along 281 is CB Pets way out at Hwy 46. None of the above are near Thousand Oaks though.

Does Brookhollow ring any bells?

Brookhollow is just south of Thousand Oaks and 281. Are you getting at something or what? lol. Those are the only stores around that area. Aquatic Warehouse is the only fish only store around there. There used to be an Albertson's grocery store there that sold fish, but they never lasted very long!

Darn, didn't realize I'd frustrate everyone. A friend of mine goes up there regularly and since it was directly on 281, that if there was anything that they had and I needed she'd pick it up. She just couldn't remember the name.

I get 'The Look' if I mention going to Corpus, let alone San Antonio. Expecially for one of 'Those Tanks' :?

Well, the only fish only store is Aquatic Warehouse that is off of 281 and Rhapsody/Sandua right by the airport. They are a good store that is only open for limited hours. Then there is Petland at 281/Bitters that is a regular, very over-priced pet store ($700 puppies). Then much further north of there is CB Pets in Bulverde. It's actually off of Hwy. 46 and 281. They sell a little of everything for pets and are a good store.
