You know that purple powder that you use in the pH, calcium, and magnesium test kits? Well that powder is called phenolphthalein and is used as a pH indicator.
Interestingly enough, its also the active ingredient in Ex-Lax. I don't recommend using your test kits to solve problems with irregularity although I can remember a few college pranks involving a large urn of tea in the cafeteria.

Bobby,
No, not everything. Far from it.
I'd be glad to help with your AP chemistry. I helped Ross a little this year. Misti is another good one to talk to. She teaches chem.

lol, gary you're so right about phenolphthalene! senior year we put a few drops on our teachers chocolates as an end of the year gift(real b**** of a teacher) didnt even deserve the horrible runs and dehydration that came of it.
on a serious note though, she almost had to go to the hospital the dehydration was so severe. she pulled out of it just fine and i hear from a buddy of mine that went into her class after me said she changed her whole attitude towards her students.
