I am slowly moving forward with my project 200gal (posted pics). My concern is that the slab has a slight belly of about 1/8" - 3/16" at one corner. The tank is empty but if you move it it tands to rock slightly. I am concerned that with the water, the stand will give to follow the contour of the slab and then the tank (not good). It was suggested using foam sheet between the slab and stand but all that weight may in time just compress it or should I just shim it? The tank rests perfectly level at the moment and I am thinking of using synthetic shims from HD to remove the gap between the slab and stand. Does anyone have a better suggestion?

thanks for any replies

Dont worry about the floor being unlevel, just level the stand out. Aslong as the stand is level to the floor, there should be no issue. Shim it however you can, the concrete should not waiver from there. Good Luck & look forward to some pics...

Shim it. That's what I would do. Or should I say, that's what I did with my 215gal
