tank is coming to life. do you have any fish or are they all hiding? the peices from jim's tank look great. man i wish he was'nt going. you should see gators tank. WOW! WOW! WOW!!!!!!!

Dan .. yes there are several fish but were all hiding..
i cant wait to see the pictures of gators tank..
Gary.. the green macro is Halimeda spp. i had about twice that in the middle of the tank
before i put all the new rocks in. i like having it there all the pods and critters call it home and make a good fish food factory...

Robert,
I'm afraid my Foxfaces would make short work of any Macro. I didn't think anything would eat Chaetamorpha until I got a Foxface.
The halimeda does look good though.

Halimeda is a calcareous algae,( not macroalgae), highly unlikely that any fish would eat it (like eating aragonite :shock: ). It's also a good calcium indicator, will export some nutrients, attractive, and more manageable than caelerpa.
