I got this in an e-mail and dont know if anyone has tried, but thought Id pass it along.

I don't know if this is going to be helpful to anyone but this group has been helpful to me so I'll try and give a little back.
I had a terrible problem with aiptasia. I bought several peppermint shrimp which promptly became dinner for something in my tank. Tried pickling lime with moderate sucess. The darn things would retract before I could get to them.
Bought 2 bottles of "juice" online and it worked fairly well but was very expensive and I used it up in a few days. Then I made my own mixture...
This may not work for everyone but it worked for me....
I figured the pickling lime was working OK as long as the aiptasia didn't retract before I could get to them. I just made the pickling lime taste better. I took chopped shrimp (or any raw seafood) and squeezed the liquid out of it. Be careful not to get and pieces of seafood in the liquid it will clog the syringe. Mix that liquid with the pickling lime either in a very thick paste and apply with a toothbrush or very thin and use a syringe. (I had to attach tubing to the syringe to reach the ones bottom of my tank) Turn off the filter and "Feed" the anoneme a little bit of the stuff. The creatures don't retract and actually eat the stuff!!! ...AND DIE!!!!! I kept after it every day for a week and won the war!!!
Hope this helps someone.
