if you want to make the drive CBs in bulverde has some nice fish, and Richard and mark are always helpful. There is also Fintique which has 25%off livestock on thurdays, and Awana Pets which sometimes gets some goodthings in, and on wednesdays they also have 25% off. The rest of the fish stores i'm not fond of so i won't say anything about them at all. But you can always check the Pet Store Listing right under Calculations, and you can see all of the fish stores. if you want a clean fish store with people who are nice and willing to talk and smart and will not lie you have to drive to austin. that's the true bottom line. but the maast members here in SA are great.

Dan, I went to Houston last week and hit 10 different stores. They are AWESOME to say the least. I bought several Florida ricordea rocks at great prices. The stores there are super clean. Not one tank had hair algae or sick fish. The corals they were selling were all healthy, no dead or dying heads, not like the ones here in SA. I posted a thread on marsh and asked for the best places to go and that was very helpful. I hit all the stores that were recommended on the west side of town. Here is the thread:

frogguy1, the austin maast members would know more but the guys at aquatek seem to know more about reefs and hardware than any other LFS I have been to.

What Scuba_Steveo said about fish stores in SA is almost true. but hopefully not including CB pets, I have always found that shop to be clean, the owners are highly intelligent and worthy of conversation. Of all the stores in San Antonio, (Or it's outlying areas) CB pets is my fav, if they don't have it, they will get it for you, and the owners are nice enough to make the short drive worth it.

(Short to me, before my wife and I got married she lived past 46 in spring branch, so I drove it practically every day.)
