Mathias - the idea of a Freshwater forum has been suggested before by others. As a member of club management, I can tell you that it was decided that it would be best to keep the club and website forums limited to saltwater/reef keeping. That is what the club was established for and the club has to stay focused on its purpose. As all of us have other hobbies and interests outside saltwater/reef keeping, the Lounge forum was created to discuss such things. Please feel free to post and discuss freshwater fish keeping in that forum. I'm sure there are a few others that would be glad to join in with your discussions.

BA - We have discussed all kinds of different forums, but overall we have found it better to keep things simplified/uncluttered on the website. Too many forums make it difficult to navigate the site and we have a hard enough time as it is getting people to place their new posts in the correct forums. The general forum is the best forum for discussing aggressive tanks/fish.
