I think they call him a tomato clown, not a Maroon for sure. I have two.

it has 2 dorsal fins, its a maroon, not a gold stripe maroon, just a light maroon. Tomato's only have one stripe

So I'm wrong, looks nothing like my gold Banded Maroons. White Strip, Okay One Strip sums it up to not be a tomato.
Looks more orange red to me. My maroons are MAROON!

It could be a white stripe maroon???? I've had those in the past. I know tht the goldstripes are white when the clown's young???

Well, Ive come to the conclusion that Im pretty sure he might could be a white stripe maroon, I was uncertain at first because of the unusual coloration of this particular speciman. Most maroons Ive seen are maroon, this one is a much brighter shade of orange as you can see. Also, the shading on the pectoral and anal fins through me off. I initialy introduced a pair of these guys to my tank, one orange the other maroon, unfortunately, the orange one beat the snot out of the maroon one so I had to relocate the maroon. Im hoping to find another one more like this one to possibly become a pair. I dunno tho, this guys a little brute so Im gonna have to find one quite a bit larger.

I think I can help clarify this. Apparently there are two color patterns for the Maroon clown (Premnas biaculeatus) based on the area they come from. Take a look at the following link.

In addition, the orange type are apparently much more aggressive than the maroon type. This pretty much follow's Mike's empirical observations.
