Pics of my New Blue Throat. So far his tankmates like him. He even lets the cleaner shrimp clean his teeth.

Stephen you posted earlier, you studied him very well before the purchase. He is reef safe? Wow thats a beutiful fish. If you find he is to big let me know. What does a fish like that go for? Where did you get him? Sorry about all the Ques. He is nice looking. Only thing I have not said is he would look better to me in my tank...LOL

Yes he is one of 3 Reef Safe Triggers, Blue Throat, Crosshatch, and Sargassum. Blue Throats sell for around $30-70 dollars. You can also get them in pairs. Bruce at AquaTek ordered him for me. It took me several months to get one that wasn't full grown.

I thought Niger Triggers were reef safe. Anyone know about them?

Nigers and pink tail's are also considered fairly reef safe, however, they will pickon/eat small shrimp/crabs and snails....
I currently have a small niger in my reef tank with no problems...

I have both a Niger Trigger and a Blue Throat Trigger in my 135g reef tank without any issues.
