i heard they are kinda kike the powder blue and get stressed easy

I had one in the past and never had any problem with it. I ended up selling it when I had to go to Korea but it was fine for the 1.5 years I had him before. I really like the looks and coloration of the powder brown over the blue myself. Could have just been lucky with mine though, maybe some others have experience with them.

that is an awsome looking fish prafferty
i think they are beutiful fish, if i didnt have so many tangs i wouldnt mind having one of those

These guys are hardy and not too hard to keep. Harder than Purple and Yellow but not as hard as Powder blue and some other tangs. Here is a picture of a healthy A. japonicus. They are very beautiful. One of the best looking tang we can keep in our tanks.
