I'm going to have a real problem with heat this summer, I think. Last humid spell we had, my tank went to 86. Part of my problem is the T3 pump running my skimmer.
(It works great, though, and it's silent and tiny) And, I would like to increase my water movement by 1000 gph. I'm not sure how to deal with it; i guess my first step is going to be run my refugium lights on a reverse cycle rather than 24/7 and put a fan or two in the sump. If that doesn't work, I guess I'm going to ditch my canopy and go open top with mini pendants.
As far as your heat, I bet the new flourescents are causing it more than the 250s.
