i have 3 fish undergoing copper treatment right now in a qt tank. i am using cupramine and keeping it at the suggested dosage of .5 it has been at full concentration for 6 days now. i was wondering how long it should take for the fish to stop displaying signs of ich, while there are really no visible white spots on the fish, they are still occasionally rubbing up against stuff and sometimes floating at odd angles. they also like to sit on the bottom of the tank kind of half laying down. btw, it is two clowns displaying this behavior. the other fish is a red scooter blenny and it is hard to tell if he is staying on the ground because he is sick still b/c well they usually always stay on the ground. anyways, i was wondering if anyone could help, and also what are the warning signs of dosing a little too much copper, besides the fish dying of course. i have a copper test kit, but it is not the one recommended by cupramine, so i am not sure if they are all the same. sorry for the long post, and thanks.
