procedures for taking fish out of qt

ok, i was just wondering if when i am ready to take my fish out of qt, there are any special procedures, mostly in the way of copper treatment. do i need to dip them in fresh saltwater first or anything, or will the copper on the skin be so small that it won't matter? thanks

Take out some of the water out of the q-tank and fill it up with water from the tank the fish are going to be in. Only do a few cups at the time. This will lower the copper concentration and get the fish acclimated to the water they are going to be in. hth
