Great Deal,
Hello everyone, I haven't posted just wanted to share the info and let people here on the group know about a great deal on nassarius snails. I just received them by mail and what a deal. I was referred to this person from my local reefkeepers group, from a fellow reefer. I ordered 100 snails for
only $ 20 dollars A GREAT DEAL!!!! and $ 6 dollars for shipping.
Total cost $26. He shipped them via mail which brings the cost of shipping completely down. He shipped them in a bag and my critters where wrapped in a paper towel. I know this was a little scetchy but hey I tried it and all 100 snails are acclimated and happy in my tank. He sells these snails on ebay or can also be contacted at the following id on ebay or a this address at yahoo.
ebay id ::forevergreenlandscapes2003
email address: forevergreenlandscapes2003@yahoo.com
Just wanted to share the info and great deal.

LMAO, who cares as long as he, or she, is saying something. We tend to put our foot into the advertisers anyway so it will be short lived if it is just an ad....... Welcome aboard you little devil you!

Here is an e-mail I received from Earl. He has great reviews on E-bay and a couple people, that I know, have ordered from him with no regrets.. He seems to be a great guy and very prompt.

I'm going to give them a try. Anything beats the killer hermits.

Yeah, I got rid of all of my hermits except the scarlet reef hermits. They are the only ones that I have found to not go killing snails for their shells. I think the two emerald crabs are killing a few of my snails though and need to get some more in the near future. Let us know how things go with the ones from this guy.

I added 100 of these guys to my tanks just over a month ago now.
Most are still doing great.
I have seen quite a few of my hermit crabs sporting a nice new black shell however.
And to be honest, I did not acclimate them as slowly as I would usually do. They arrived later than I expected due to bad weather.
Its only been a month, but I'm still happy with them. A great way to increase the diversity of my snails at such a low price ...

I ordered these a while back from the same guy and have been very pleased with them.

Uh, ok
First of all, I am female as if that matters by any means, I was trying to save everyone a few bucks, I have both kinds of nassarius snails in my tank. They are doing quite well, as for the hermits, I do have a few sporting a new dig, but all the snails after acclimation were fine. You win some you loose some. I am not a vendor nor do a own any stores. I just wanted to pass on the great deal. I am a member of the Austin board but do not get into the meetings and posting a lot, but a good deal is a good deal, the """snail""" guy is legitimate, and I actually did not have to bid on ebay, I just emailed him how many I wanted and he responded with the price. yada yada!!!!!!    ;)

I ordered 200 more if anyone wants them for $50. I got them this morning and just threw them into the tank. All of them are up and running...

I would advise against the Ebay dude "forevergreenlandscapes2003" with the snails. I bought 100, half died in transit and I think i have maybe a dozen left after a week. I did split the 100 between 2 tanks and the same thing happened. To me it was a $40 mistake. My true nasurius (sp) did enjoy the snack along with the hermits.

Give him a call and he'll take care of you. I've bought a few hundred from him with no problems.

What is the latest news of the snails. Are they still survivng and doing their thing? I am seriously thinking about ordering from this guy. The price sure as heck looks good. I pay outrageous amounts of money for snails here in Houston. It is unreal.

I've had some die, but regular snails die also. Overall, I am happy. I got lots of snails at a good price. This has only been my experience though. I would buy from him again.

I will more than likely email him soon and see what the prices are, do you have any pics you can post of them? The one above isnt showing up all that great on my screen.
