Berghia eggs already! And hundreds of them. First egg strand was only supposed to be around 100. There's more than that.

Berghis nudibranch, the aiptasia eating machine! This tiny slug eats nothing but aiptasia, and is highly sought after for that purpose. The problem is, you must propogate them to build up a population, cause they're very small, and if you put one or two in a fully stocked reef, it would probably get eaten shortly after. Larry's breeding an army of these critters, and I'm sure if he has success with it, he'll be able to sell them.

what are you doing to keep these monsters well fed??? Do you have an aiptasia farm? J/K but really, how do you raise aiptasia to feed you baby's?? Is it a relatively easy set-up, or do you have a few secrets to really get these things growing??

I do happen to have a small aiptasia farm, yes. To raise aiptasia, you need to get one aiptasia in a regular tank or tote, heater, light of some kind and a little circulation. And then feed it now and then. You will eventually have a ton of them. They will grow in a reef tank like wild fire. I started with 4 a year ago and have fed about 3000 of them to my copperbands since that time. I have many more. Hopefully some baby nudis will be ready to release into reef tanks in about 6 weeks or so.
