Hi guys,

Looking for a couple of clams for my new nano (I'll move them to the main tank when they get too big for the nano). I figure it's easier to get them a higher concentration of food in a nano than a bigger tank.

I usually go to Aquatek, but wanted to see if there were any other cool places I might not know about? Online is fine.....

Thanks,
Mike

Aquadome actually has been getting some nice, affordable clams in the last few months - I got a nice electric crocea there a few months back for about 35 bucks - a good 3" + clam. You can always try www.clamsdirect.com and deal with Barry or wait till Jim does another club fundraiser / group buy on clams.

You know, I've never actually gone to Aquadome. I might drop by today to make up for missin' the meeting. Where's Aquatic Warehouse?

Don't know where you're located Mike, but Aquatic Warehouse is in San Antonio near the airport off 281N.

Thanks - I'm in Austin but I'm going to San Antonio tomorrow for business. I'll be near 281 and 1604. If I'm heading south on 281, what exit is it?

Heading south on 281, exit Nakoma/Rahpsody. Go through the light and stay on the access road. The next light will be Sandau/Rahpsody. Turn left and go over the bridge. Aquatic Warehouse will be on the corner of the first street on the right - Gulfdale. They are in the middle of the L shaped building.

I would still suggest you check out clamsdirect.com. They have nice clams and prices. You can view all the clams they have on their website and pick the one you want.
