Removing an Anemone from Live Rock

My bubble tip Anemone split about 2 months ago, now they are both huge and the new one is touching some of my sps and irritating it. How do I get him off of the rock? I can pick up the rock and get to his base, but I can't remove him. I've tried ice and removing him out of the water. He is just too big for that area of the tank.

I have also taken the rock out and hung them upside down. Usually the weight of the water in the anemone will be to great and the foot will start letting go. Make sure you have it over a bucket of water for it to fall into. It can take a couple minutes for it to let go.
