These attached pics are of a crocea clam I picked up at a local LFS for 29 bucks and an acro frag purchased from a local Austin reefer. The clam was a dull green when I purchased it about two months ago. It is now almost four inches and attached to the rock. The acro started dying (as can be seen from the dead growth in back) and picked up with all new growth (in the past two months) after replacing my 250w HQIs with new Ushio 10K. All I'm dosing is Kalk from a Nurce.

how long did you run your old bulbs?

Don't know. I got them used and they were at least a year to a year and a half old at the time. I ran them for a few months and started getting a hair outbreak. That brought back nightmares from a hair outbreak from the past. I replaced the bulbs and within a month the hair was ALL gone and everything started coming back. The attachec leather was just a lump and now look at it.

Thanks, It's been a while since I've had some time to devote to the hobby.
Any more frags available for an old buddy? :)
